About EVC Partners
The transition to zero emission vehicles is accelerating rapidly and is at a tipping point. This transition is being powered publigc policy mandates and targets; significant government and utilities funding supporting the transition; growing consumer and corporate demand; and technology and cost efficiency advances. This transition is vital to combat climate change and to support a clean energy, good jobs future for the American economy.
A key need and challenge for this transition is an inter-city network of EV charging and alternative fuel hubs for light duty/passenger vehicles and medium and heavy-duty trucks. EVC Partners was formed to meet this need and challenge.
With its diverse skills in land use entitlements, real estate development, clean energy, utility distribution and transmission, and public policy – EVC Partners is uniquely suited to help solve the challenge of finding sites suitable for EV charging and the provision of alternative fuels and getting them teed up for development.
The building blocks of the network needed to support the transition to zero emission vehicles are well located, ready to develop sites along major transportation corridors, with access to sufficient electrical power, to meet the near and long-term demand for EV charging and provision of alternative fuels (e.g., renewable compressed natural gas, hydrogen, etc.). As the demand for EV charging and alternative fuels accelerates, the need for sites with approved land use entitlements, a short time horizon for development, and access to an adequate supply of electrical power at a reasonable cost and in a reasonable timeframe will become critical.
To facilitate the delivery of the inter-city network of sites required to support the new, clean transportation sector, EVC Partners is:
assembling a portfolio of sites that are viable in the near and long term for EV charging and provision of alternative fuels.
obtaining the land use entitlements for those sites, if not already in place, and site plan approvals as needed for EV charging/alternative fuel stations, as well as ancillary uses such as food, convenience, and amenities for customers.
working with utilities to define the path to sufficient electrical power for those sites; and
planning to enter into transactions with developers/operators of EV charging and alternative fuels stations, as well as developers of complementary uses, to build out the sites in EVC Partners’ portfolio.
